Save Run

Running Preservation Society

Is it just me, or does it seem like the more press a race gets the less you want to do it? I mean, you've all heard of the Bolder Boulder, right? People ask me aaaaalllll the damn time if I'm gonna do it... they treat it like it's senior prom and if you don't go you won't be popular. It really kind of disgusts me and, as such, i really have no desire to run it. Does anyone else get like that?

I've done the bolder boulder. And it does kinda suck having thousands of people in it, but the waves keep the fast runners from getting tangled in the mess of 40,000 + people. The first wave (A) startes at 7:00 and we finish around 7:35 when the joggers. walkers are just getting to the starting line. So in the end it's really not that bad. And Ryan Hall and the rest of the pro's do a diffrent course than the civilians.
