FYI if you haven't tried on PI running shoes:
They're like running on a pillow made by
Jesus!

"a pillow made by jesus"
ha! oh that's a great line.
i've been pretty loyal to asics myself but i haven't tried pearls... i can't imagine switching into different shoes at this particular point in time.

You can get them at specialty run stores or on-line. I run in the syncroFloat2 and trail run in the PeakXC.

I have tried them and I must say Jesus is not my favorite pillow maker nor PI my favorite shoe maker. They are Ok but after 3 different pair I went back to Saucony. I tried them at least. I really like the Grid Sinister by Saucony.

I agree with Lance. PI's are ok but nothing spectaular. I wear them for everyday walking around use but i wouldn't want to run in them. They don't seem like they have great support. I, too, really enjoy Saucony's. Just started running and racing in them. Train in the Omni's and race in the Fastwich's. They are great shoes. I absolutely love the Fastwich's. Have run 5 P.R.'s in them this year and all 5 were different distances. I ran in New Balance for around 7 years or so and I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.

I bought a pair on Ebay, ran in them a few times and liked them enough that I bought another pair. They are the shine, which I dont think they make anymore, which was the reason for the second pair. They are very soft, and also very lightweight.

what kind of PI's do you have...I normally wear brooks or asics but I'm definitely willing to try PIs

I buy the Infinity. it has extra stability support with more cushioning that what I had in my Asics

They seem to "run" small. Not the support I'm use to, but for races they'd be okay. If they were just a tad larger they would have been perfect.

I had to go up a 1/2 size.

The doughnut run is so amzing, first you start out eating a doughtnut then run a lap, and you repeat this until you throw up, if you do not complete the 400 in given time, do not eat doughnut in give time, or bitch out. you are out.
