I got the SYNCRO SEEK III. They are doing great a compaired to my Asics out here. I am forced to run on unlevel, dirt and rocks that are unforgiving and sure bruised my feet in my Asics. I like that there are no seems on the inside as well. I'm sold on them since they can handle Afghanistan.
Now that I have my coupon for the Pearl Izumi shoes, I'd obviously like to order a pair. My problem is that no running store in my area carries them, so I'll be unable to try them on to determine what I like. I usually wear Asics 2130, which offers slight stability. Any suggestions for Pearls?

I really liked my free pair they gave me. I got the Streaks and I replaced my Mizuno Wave Rider 3 with them. I think they are really spectacular for racing due to being flat, light and extremely comfy. They don't offer as much support as some people might want and that is why I decline training in them, but for a short to mid-distance race, they are awesome.
i got the same ones and they just kill my feet. i've only worn them a few times that i've done speed workouts on an indoor track and i can do about 2 fast miles and then that's it. it might be that the curve of the track is pretty sharp (and it's not banked) and my feet hit at an odd angle... or they just might not be the right shoes for my feet.

41:19, but the interesting thing is that two weeks later, I ran a half marathon that was on the same course as the 10k (just rearranged a bit, with a few miles added), and if I had run the 10k at the same pace I ran my half marathon, I would have go…
