Maybe they don't have hair on their legs. Have you seen them shaving?

I read an interview with Lance Armstrong once, he said the real reason cyclists shave isn't so much the arerodynamics, but when you get a massage every day it's easier with bare legs. So probably the same thing for those runners lucky enough to get massages that often.
