i am going to run the weather channel half in Atlanta on thanksgiving morning.
it will be my first half and i'm not sure what to expect. i'm stepping up from 10k's.
my training is going good so far, i am up to 35 a week with 10 mile longs.
i hope to keep a steady pace for the entire distance on race day and finish in 2:11:00 or better.
10:00 pace is a good pace for me, i think i can go 9:30-9:40 though.

41:19, but the interesting thing is that two weeks later, I ran a half marathon that was on the same course as the 10k (just rearranged a bit, with a few miles added), and if I had run the 10k at the same pace I ran my half marathon, I would have go…
