Not a Half, but just short of one, so I figured it was worth talking about. This fairly flat, road race is part of a 5 race readiness series for the Marathon. This is race 2. The last one was a 15k, the next is 25k, 30k and then just a Half. I don't intend to do the marathon, but I couldn't resist these mid-distance (you guys consider Halfs to be middle or long?) races because I just wanted to try out some new distances.

The point: I took 3rd in the 15k in my age group and took 2nd today! I was just trying to finish, but I managed to kick some ass. 1:23:?? for 20k. Not bad, I think. Just thought I'd brag somewhere people would care.
