I thought I'd try to create a group for new/beginning runners. I'm not fast nor can I run very long. But I'm improving, slowly but surely. Very slowly.

Hi,

I'm new to this website and this group. Are there still any new runners out there?

I starated walking/running on a regaular basis last year. I hurt my foot in December, so I'm just getting back to it.

Hi Deanna, welcome! Are you finding your "progress" frustrating? Especially when reading all these other runner's workouts (ex: I ran 4miles in the morning and another 7 in the evening)...there's no way I could do that!

The doughnut run is so amzing, first you start out eating a doughtnut then run a lap, and you repeat this until you throw up, if you do not complete the 400 in given time, do not eat doughnut in give time, or bitch out. you are out.
