ouch. I remember when I had been training for the hurdles all last season, and then the first meet, my coach tells me, hey, you're running the mile too! heh. But then that somehow got changed to the opening leg of the sprint relay...go figure.
I was training up for a 440 relay, and the day before found out it had been changed to an 880. Ran my first lap at a great clip, and then proceeded to throw up half way through the second.

- So. My name's Holly. I love running, what can you say? So...let's see. I run cross country and track, and I play basketball and I'm a varsity cheerleader. I run because it's relaxing. I run because it makes me feel accomplished. I run because it is just part of what I do. It just....happens. haha. I like my asic running shoes, I hate the spikes my coach bought me last year, I love my ironman watch, um. hmm. I love going to college track meets, even if when I go to the indoor ones the distance events get extra non exciting...8 lap miles. haha. and my buddy was running the 3000...lol.
So..This one time I asked a Kenyan distance runner, "So, who's better, the Kenyans or the Ethiopians?" He just kind of looked at me and replied, "I think you know the answer to that."

Playoffs is Killing My Mileage.
So. It's baseball and softball playoff season. ha. I don't play, but the rest of my town is uber-enthusiastic about these sports, seeing that it's pretty much all that my school seems to be successful at. heh. Don't get me wrong, I love baseball and softball. They're alot of fun to watch, and I'm really happy for my classmates.
