I'm from Utah but moved to Missouri (Misery) thrree years ago. I had to get used to the thick humid air and now when I go back to Utah each year the altitiude is hard on my lungs.

ran the timp shadow 5k this morning in the rain and the mud, fun coarse. finished 7th overall and 1st in age, i think the cascadia trail series will have some fun coarses this year. they are having a 11.2 miler (relay) next weekend. might do it solo…

I just glanced at your blog and loved the part about your daughter skiing for the first time. What/where is the buffalo run you speak of? I'm still searching for running trails here, since I'm new to the area. Any ideas/suggestions would be helpful for me and my searching. Thanks.
The doughnut run is so amzing, first you start out eating a doughtnut then run a lap, and you repeat this until you throw up, if you do not complete the 400 in given time, do not eat doughnut in give time, or bitch out. you are out.
