About Me:
I'm a Marketing and Accounting major at the University of Maryland. I have run on track teams since 6th grade, but now I am just running for myself. I've run 5k's 10k's and 10 mile races, but I am trying to move into the longer distances.

I am recovering from a stress fracture in my foot that I got from running...not jogging. I ran a 10 mile race on it before I had it x-rayed...what jogger would do that? So while it's killing me to not be running right now, I know that when I can again I will appreciate it so much more.

I love my Garmin! The one that has the heart rate monitor option is about $100 more than the one that doesn't. Then you have to buy the monitor itself. If knowing your heart rate is worth an extra $150 than get the 305 or 405. For me, it wasn't worth it.

I have an australian shepherd and he LOVES to run. In fact you have to run them or else they'll find ways to get in trouble when you're not around. I run him in the morning for 4 miles and then my wife will run him in the afternoon. They are great...
