Top effort. times are all relative anyway. Great distance 10 miles, good over distance for 10K and a nice fitness test for a half.

Maybe she's just stalking you? Seriously, is she actually race walking, i.e. 45 minutes for 10K, in which case I'd say cut her some slack, or is she simply waddling around?

The joys of running without a watch

Just about every run I do is measured by time, distance and pulse. This way I can analyse my progression, or lack of, and adapt accordingly. I'm strong believer in quality over quantity and therefore use measurement as a means to ensure that every KM I run is worthwhile.
