I have had the usual yelling and screaming.......Only once has anyone ever thrown something at me. It was a polar pop with what looked to be some sort off soda in it. He missed and I gave him the finger. My favorite is always the people who yell tha…
As far as I know, Wedgy's is still there. I haven't been out Thompson Bridge in a while. That's so funny that you went to Riverside. Small world, right?
I just read your profile. yes, sounds very familiar. There was one other thing i didn't mention in the profile... for obvious reasons. I started running as a diversion from my abuse of alcohol. I was a terrible alcoholic and am now at that point where I'm ok with a beer after a long run, but the drinking days are over. I needed to find something to make me feel happy again after years of abusing myself and others.
i'm actually in denver now... been here like 19 years but i still think about cleveland. we were actually just outside in a town called bay village. i love colorado but i miss how green and rainy it gets in ohio! i've never run there but i think it'd be interesting to see how i'd do at sea level since i've only run at altitude.

About Me:
I am firefighter and a runner. I have run 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons. I have been running since 2005. I was a jock in high school, I played football, soccer, I was on the wrestling team as well as the rowing team. I hated when my coaches used to make us run. After high school I became lazy and overweight. Then one day I just decided to go out for a run. I forced myself to do 2 miles. I have been running ever since. I run 5Ks, 10Ks, Half Marathons, and I am currently training for my first Full Marathon. There is nothing more fun, calming, peaceful, and exhilarating than running.
Running does not define me.............but it is a part of who I am.
