Vancouver, BC CANADA
About Me:
On May 4th, 2008 two Canadians laced up on the shores of Vancouver, BC for the run of a lifetime, called Run for One Planet (www.runforoneplanet.com). For the ensuing 12 months, Stephanie Tait and partner Matt Hill ran 17,700km across Canada and around the perimeter of the USA to start a grassroots movement of environmental action for kids. By the end, they ran about 210 marathons each and spoke to over 20,000 “pint-size eco-warriors” in the process. To keep the movement going, they partnered with the Vancouver Foundation and set up a Legacy Fund to empower kids to start their own green projects.

Prior to co-founding Run for One Planet, Stephanie was a Business Development Coach for Entrepreneurs and Business Owners, and National Speaker, to help her clients make changing the world their business.

She has pursued her coaches training through Coach University, and holds a BA in International Relations and Women’s Studies from the University of British Columbia.
