im a total arizona girl. i always figured when i went to college i'd leave the state as fast as my little legs could carry me but i've realized, i'm never leaving! minus the 4 months out of the year we're subject to sweltering heat, az is ideal for being outdoors, and for racing!
running keeps me centered. it's the only way i can keep my head clear and after every run, no matter how lousy the start may be, i'm filled with the greatest sense of joy. :tears: seriously though, it makes me happy. no matter what else is going on around me, a run will quickly cheer me up.
i also recently took up cycling. i'm definitely a newbie but im quickly falling in love with it.
... needless to say i have participated in a couple of sprint triathlons. and when i find the time to slow down, i love the practice of yoga.

Greetings from CO! i have to admit that my off season training goes a bit by the wayside when the snowboard season hits. sort of like snowboarding with a some running sprinkled in for good measure. ever tried it? it's a super sneaky way of getting a good leg workout...all you have to do is hit the trees and moguls. i think it's like running downhill.
That a girl, endurance is where it's at! I'm the turtle in the race, all the fast rabbits take off fast and loose htere mojo, and I come from behind and past them up. That's my attack plan, I sneak up on them with the never give up attitude!
no! what is that?! all that and just girl time this weekend? but it's cool we're running part of pike's peak sunday :)
ha! this is crazy! forget saverun, this should be savemen! thanks for listening to all the bitching!
