im a total arizona girl. i always figured when i went to college i'd leave the state as fast as my little legs could carry me but i've realized, i'm never leaving! minus the 4 months out of the year we're subject to sweltering heat, az is ideal for being outdoors, and for racing!
running keeps me centered. it's the only way i can keep my head clear and after every run, no matter how lousy the start may be, i'm filled with the greatest sense of joy. :tears: seriously though, it makes me happy. no matter what else is going on around me, a run will quickly cheer me up.
i also recently took up cycling. i'm definitely a newbie but im quickly falling in love with it.
... needless to say i have participated in a couple of sprint triathlons. and when i find the time to slow down, i love the practice of yoga.
