I know there was big debate about whether runners listened to music while running. I used to be anti-music, but today for my long run I was rockin' out to some hardcore shit. All that remains, bullet for my valentine, underoath and so on. I ran 12 seconds slower than my half marathon pr on a 13.1 mile course. Thats 6:19 a mile, averaging 5:57 the second half with no rest. Thats pretty damn fast for a training run, i don't care who you are. I think I might start running to music some of the time now. not every run, but especially on my long runs where i run alone along a highway for an hour and a half.
